OVERVIEW:

Hipcricket is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Senior PHP Developer for our Atlanta, Georgia office to help us forge a platform for the ever-evolving mobile world. As Senior PHP Developer you will work as a member of the engineering staff that is responsible for development of core back-end systems. You will collaborate with developers in Atlanta and in remote offices to expand the capabilities of the Company's mobile technology platform. This position is responsible for creating additional components for the existing platform infrastructure that is comprised of distributed code modules that communicate via XML>

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

➢ Support existing development staff ➢ Enhance functionality of existing platform ➢ Document and develop Object-Oriented source code in PHP5

QUALIFICATIONS:

➢ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information engineering or other related areas - at a level that demonstrates the ability to perform duties comparable to those listed therein ➢ Object-oriented design principles are absolutely critical ➢ Excellent communication/collaboration skills, both oral and written ➢ Ability to work independently and produce tangible assets. ➢ Experience with the full life cycle of software development ➢ Expereince with bug tracking systems ➢ Ability to maintain strong attention to detail in high pressure situations ➢ Ability to accurately estimate work effort for a project, contribute to the development of timelines, and manage work to meet project schedule ➢ Should have extensive experience consuming and producing APIs (should have previous experience setting up an entire API structure) ➢ Experience with XML (writing wrapper sto proudce web services) ➢ SQL (PostgreSQL 9 a plus) ➢ JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PHP5

QUALIFICATIONS:

➢ 7+ Years of industry experience ➢ Experience in the communications industry ➢ Large-scale, high throughput systems integrations
